Jason PaulWhat is your background? Back in the 90’s and early 2000’s, companies gave away old IT equipment because it was cheaper than recycling it. My brother and I learned how to build computers and networks in our basement. As I grew, this went from a fun hobby to a career. I’ve been in the industry for 4 years, in multiple client-facing roles.

What is a typical day like for you? My day-to-day changes weekly, but generally I’m either on-site at a client location, or at the office working things we can fix remotely.

What do you like most about your job? No matter how long you’re in the industry, there is always something new to learn. Infinite diversity, in infinite combinations.

Favorite activities or things to do when not working: I’m either at home spending time with the wife, playing video games with my friends, or spending time with my streamer communities online.

Something most people would not know about you: I was born in Texas, but raised in Cleveland, Ohio. GO BROWNS!

If there was one thing you could change about your past, what would it be and why? I would have been less of a daredevil as a child. There’s plenty of aches and pains that I could deal without.

One day, I dream I’ll be able to…. See the seven wonders of the world in person.
